Hello, I'm Craig Bieri, a marketing and brand strategist with 15+ years of leading growth for corporate and agency teams.

My Experience

I started out with a pencil, not a spreadsheet. My BFA is in graphic design, and for the first several years of my career that's exactly what I did: logos, identity systems, campaigns you could hold in your hand. Somewhere along the way, the question stopped being just "does this look right" and became "is this working," and I found I liked that question more.

Fifteen-plus years later, I've led brand and digital transformation for a 45-year-old manufacturing company, built out a fractional consultancy that's worked across insurance, healthcare, tourism, nonprofit, and construction, and managed marketing investments north of $800K a year: CRM, demand gen, campaigns, the whole stack. But I've never stopped being the person who can also sit down and design the thing. That combination is rarer than it should be, and it's the reason clients and employers keep bringing me in when the problem is bigger than "we need a new logo," but the work still has to actually look and feel like something.

The projects below are the proof. Each one started as a business problem before it became a design problem. That's still how I like to work.

I'm currently open to fractional, contract, and full-time marketing leadership roles. Let's talk.

Stevens Point Area Convention & Visitor Bureau

Logo for Stevens Point Area featuring a stylized mountain or tree with orange and blue colors and text to the right reading 'Stevens Point Area'.

A navy blue baseball cap with an embroidered patch on the front showing a stylized orange and black leaf with a water body underneath and rays of light above.
White long-sleeve t-shirt with a graphic design featuring a stylized pine tree and water, with the text "Stevens Point Wisconsin" arranged in a circular pattern.
A tan ceramic mug with a black geometric design on a white surface, next to a matching notepad and a business card, partially covering a brochure or magazine with a man in a gray shirt and cap on the cover.

A regional tourism office needed people to picture themselves visiting, not just recognize a logo. I led the full rebrand: an identity system, print collateral, and brand guidelines built to hold up anywhere.

Miron construction

Composite of three images: a construction site with buildings and machinery, a modern building with glass windows at sunset, and the Miron Construction logo with the slogan 'Building Excellence' and their website URL.
A promotional graphic encouraging viewers to join the Miron Construction team, featuring the Miron logo, social media icons, and the slogan 'Building Excellence'.
Magazine page featuring a photo of six construction workers standing outside a building with the words 'EXCELLENCE' and 'BUILDING' overlaid. The magazine promotes Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology and Miron Construction, emphasizing building excellence.

Construction is won on trust before it's won on price. I ran creative direction for a national firm's business development pursuits, proposals, presentations, and environmental design to help them win multimillion-dollar jobs.

Packaged dog treats labeled 'Bark Bits Lamb & Carrot' with a cartoon illustration of a dog and text describing the product's features and ingredients.

A product needs to sell itself in about two seconds on a shelf. I designed the packaging and illustration to do exactly that, quickly turning a crowded shelf into an easy decision.

District 1 Brewing Mural Concept

Colorful mural artwork on the exterior wall of a shopping center with parking lot in front. The mural features large, stylized images of a hop cone, bicycle, water bottle, and geometric shapes, painted in bright colors.

Some brands live in a room, not just on a screen. I conceptualized murals and environmental design that let this one take up physical space, turning walls into storytelling.

Text that reads 'DREAM PROJECT' with a gear icon replacing the letter 'O' in 'PROJECT' on a black background.

Dream Project

This one was pure creative execution: experiential design, animation, and projection mapping, the kind of work that reminds me still today why I got into this creative business.
